Serán 19 corridas de toros las que integren la temporada grande 2010-2011 en la Plaza México --que cumple 65 años el próximo 5 de febrero-- la que se inaugurará el domingo 7 de noviembre y cuyo elenco incluye los nombres de 24 toreros mexicanos, 10 españoles, un francés, con la notable ausencia del diestro español José Tomás, máxima figura taurina mundial.

El cartel inaugural del serial en el coso de la delegación Benito Juáez, estará conformado por los diestros Eulalio López "El Zotoluco", el maestro valenciano Enrique Ponce, y el queretano Octavio García, "El Payo" para despachar un encierro de la ganadería de San José. Y la corrida del 65 Aniversario, el 5 de febrero de 2011, será en homenaje a la trayectoria del sevillano Paco Camino, uno de los toreros más queridos por el Público mexicano.
