El día de hoy, Mario Palacios, jefe Delegacional de la Benito Juárez, presentará su informe de gobierno con bombos y platillos, haciendo hincapié en lo “eficiente” que ha sido su gestión, sin embargo los ciudadanos conocemos la realidad, tenemos problemas: las condiciones deplorables de las banquetas que se convierten en un peligro para gente mayor y discapacitados, la grave inseguridad que estamos viviendo con la entrada de los gobiernos panistas pues en 2006 nuestra delegación fue considerada la que tuvo más robos bancarios, 2009 la más insegura, en 2010 se cometieron 38 delitos por día, es decir, 13,837 delitos en el año y en 2011 la sexta delegación con más delitos denunciados, los ciudadanos no olvidamos pues hemos sido víctimas de los delitos, entre los más comunes se encuentran el robo a transeúnte, robo de automóviles, robo a taxistas, robo al transporte público, secuestro, narcomenudeo, robos bancarios, robo a casa habitación. La indudablemente contradicción entre el informe delegacional y la realidad de los que vivimos aquí, es una característica de las gestiones panistas.

En los últimos años de la gestión panista de la Delegación Benito Juárez se han incrementado los establecimientos clandestinos, de acuerdo con la información de los propios vecinos que han presentado sus quejas, estos sitios no cuentan con permisos y ni siquiera están regulados por las autoridades Delegacionales, estamos cansados de la impunidad con que esta gente está destruyendo nuestra comunidad e identidad.

Los vecinos de la delegación Benito Juárez estamos hartos de los abusos que las mismas autoridades solapan, un ejemplo son las construcciones que se realizan sin una coordinación previa y sin vigilancia por parte de las autoridades, es del conocimiento público que muchas de estas obras no tienen permisos ya que violan las leyes y normas de construcción y vialidad, además de no respetar los lineamientos ambientales de la zona. Los problemas que vivimos en la Delegación Benito Juárez son a todas luces consecuencia de la corrupción de los gobiernos panistas que han permitido la construcción desmedida de edificios, comercios y departamentos, que afectan notablemente la vida cotidiana de los juarenses, los vecinos que han acudido a realizar demandas por la graves afectaciones de las cuales han sido víctimas, se quejan constantemente del corte en el suministro de agua por uno o más días, el cierre de calles sin aviso previo, ruido excesivo en altas horas de la noche y tala de árboles, mostrando la corrupción que prevalece entre las autoridades delegacionales con las grandes desarrolladoras inmobiliarias quienes con tantos negocios y jugosas ganancias han olvidado el bienestar social de los que vivimos aquí. Por ello, señor Mario Palacios Acosta, jefe delegacional en Benito Juárez, no se muestre tan convencido de que la impunidad y el abuso de poder se pueden perpetuar en la Delegación.

Nuestra opción es la participación ciudadana, es la fuerza que nos nutre, es nuestra esencia, no olvidamos de dónde venimos y hacia dónde vamos, no permitiremos que las autoridades panistas nos sigan hundiendo en esta terrible inseguridad e impunidad, han demostrado que no pueden y no quieren ocuparse de nuestra seguridad y necesidades.

Son muchos los problemas que aquejan a los vecinos de esta Delegación por lo que muestro mi ejes de trabajo: 1) el empoderamiento de la comunidad, involucrar a los vecinos, escuchar su voz, 2) terminar con la corrupción y la impunidad en la que se conservan las gestiones panistas que han abusado de su poder arriesgando la integridad, el patrimonio y hasta la vida de los vecinos 3) recuperar los parques y crear nuevas espacios para desenvolver la creatividad de los jóvenes y niños, donde se pueda respirar aire libre, realizar jornadas de rescate de nuestros espacios públicos, es nuestra seguridad la que está en juego y no daré marcha atrás, la seguridad es prioritaria; 4) promoción del transporte público para atender para el grave problema de falta de estacionamientos; 5) inversión en el mejoramiento de los servicios de agua, drenaje y electricidad para satisfacer la demanda de servicios.

Estoy convencida de que debemos involucrarnos en las decisiones políticas que nos afectan directamente, pedir cuentas a nuestros gobernantes; no los dejemos con las manos libres para seguir actuando de manera impune y corrupta, cambiemos eso por un gobierno limpio, que se preocupe por nuestro bienestar, un gobierno justo que trabaje a favor de los ciudadanos.

Bowling Green Police spokesman Ronnie Ward said it appears someone shot into a crowd outside the bar and struck the players. He said police are still trying to identify a suspect, and hoped to get more information about what happened when Holliman and Singh are well enough to be interviewed.
He said an officer happened to be driving by the scene when he heard gunshots and called for backup at 12:39 a.m.
Holliman is a sophomore from Tucker, Ga., and Singh is a freshman from Auburndale, Fla.
The school's statement said coach Willie Taggart has spoken to the parents of both players.
Holliman, a sophomore, had eight tackles and a forced fumble during the 2011 season. Singh, a freshman, played mostly on special teams and had two tackles during the season.
