Hace poco tiempo tuve la oportunidad de visitar un municipio en el Estado de México, donde han mantenido un gobierno priista desde 1946, me sorprendió mucho la falta de obras y servicios urbanos que sufre esta comunidad tan cercana al Distrito Federal, no cuentan con calles pavimentadas, no hay asfalto ni banquetas, lo que permite que la tierra se levante de una manera impresionante, la gente que vive ahí sufre de muchos problemas de salud debido a esta situación.

Y como siempre es claro los que menos tienen, son los que más sufren, esto no es una casualidad, es una muestra clara de que a los gobernantes priistas no les importa en absoluto el bienestar de su pueblo, y es la muestra de lo poco que les importamos como ciudadanos a nuestros políticos y gobernantes.

La Delegación Benito Juárez es considerada una delegación con alto nivel de desarrollo, a mi parecer existían muchas dudas sobre el por qué del calificativo ya que aquí tenemos muchos problemas, como las condiciones deplorables de las banquetas que se convierte en un peligro para gente mayor y discapacitados, la grave inseguridad que estamos viviendo con los gobiernos panistas, y entendí que el adjetivo calificativo no se debe a que estemos en mejores condiciones sino a que somos los menos olvidados entre los olvidados, esto no solo nos debe alarmar e indignar, nos debe llevar a organizarnos y exigir que se acabe tal abuso.

Tener una banqueta, tenerla limpia o en buen estado no es un lujo, sino un derecho, no solo habla bien de nosotros, sino que le da una identidad a nuestra comunidad, en Benito Juárez tenemos banquetas, si pero en malas condiciones es casi igual o peor que no tenerlas. Sin lugar a dudas tenemos muchas áreas en las que hay que trabajar, pero al mismo tiempo tenemos que hacer conciencia de que si nuestros gobiernos no han logrado olvidarnos es porque hemos participado de alguna u otra manera por estos cambios pero necesitamos involucrarnos más para ver resultados sino se les olvida a nuestros gobernantes para que fueron elegidos.

La Dirección de Obras y Desarrollo Urbano de la Delegación Benito Juárez tiene entre sus funciones “Construir y rehabilitar las vialidades secundarias, las guarniciones y banquetas requeridas en la demarcación territorial” si no lo exigimos, lo olvidan. La imagen de nuestra Delegación y las condiciones de nuestra comunidad refleja nuestra cultura, nuestro desarrollo, nos da una identidad. Hoy solo quise comentar algo tan sencillo como las banquetas para dar una simple muestra de que, cómo usted tiene su banqueta y su calle es el reflejo de cuanto le importa a su gobernante. Salga un día a caminar por su colonia y vea como están sus banquetas y sus calles y ahí tendrá la respuesta. Por mi parte, aquí nací y quiero una Delegación de la que me sienta orgullosa, es bueno empezar por algo, aunque sea algo pequeño como exigir mejores condiciones en las obras públicas.
